Victor Kiam, long gone now, was the former owner of the now famous and infamous New England Patriots. He became a celebrity of sorts in his day as the pitchman for the Remington razor. His line, “I liked the shaver so much, I bought the company”, not only made him a household name but also sold a bunch of Remington products.

Plus, it was also true. He did buy the company after his wife bought him his first electric razor – a Remington. This was a case of a person putting his money where his mouth was.

While we at Silvrback don’t own a NFL team or anything else that remotely reflects having any such wealth, we did like the Silvrback product and did what we had to to pull the cash together to buy the company.

There are things that could be better, to be sure. And we’re in the middle of wrestling out what some of these might be. Like Mr. Kiam with Remington, we commit to making Silvrback a better experience.

But, we think the sleek clean lines still make it love at first type.
